In short, making a homemade photo album is the economical solution that is much more fun than any robot-blender for mom.

I speak knowingly. I was offered a handmade photo book twice. The first one was made by my friends before I left to live abroad.
I took it with me and every time the blues hit, I took it out and remembered the good memories. I even showed it to the friends I had made there... It's certainly one of the attentions that touched me the most from my friends.
With digital, we have lost the habit of touching photos, leafing through an album. They are imprisoned on our hard drive.
That of our computer when we took the trouble to transfer it, but often also that of the memory card of our digital camera or even more so on our smartphone.
To remember our most precious memories, nothing beats printing them on paper and creating a real original photo album. Finally, digital will never replace the pleasure of leafing through a photo album with friends.
I'm not going to tell you how to make your photo album. On the other hand, for a quality impression, the site monalbumphoto.fr is the reference. Don't worry, it's super easy to make a keepsake photo album.
To avoid paying for a photo album on a website, it is easy to make one yourself in DIY mode. Making a photo album takes 20 minutes altogether.
Print your photos using your printer on photo paper of course. Then follow these steps.
- Photo paper
- Slightly thick white, kraft or colored sheets
- Some ribbons (in fabric, string, rope of your choice)
- Glue
- A troublemaker
1. Print your photos using your printer on photo paper.
2. Crop the photos if needed. The easiest way to avoid clipping is to print them all in the same format.
3. Make a hole in the leaves with your trouillotteuse, at the top or on the side. Make sure before making the hole that the photo is the right size. Do not make the hole too much in the middle to leave room for the photo:1 cm from the edge is the right distance to turn the pages easily.
4. Stick the photos always on the same side (left or right).
5. Personalize each page by leaving a cool little caption or fun title describing the photo. Use a marker preferably, but test it on a sheet to check that it does not smudge.
6. Make a pretty cardboard cover that you punch in the same way as the sheets.
7. Bind the pages with your colored ribbons.
There you go, you made your DIY photo album in 20 min :-)
It's easy to make a photo album yourself!
And what's more, you're sure to please with it!
If you don't want to use loose sheets that you bind together, you can choose a nice notebook, like this one for example, and paste your photos directly into it.
