1. Cut a piece of wrapping paper that is at least 2 times the width of the item to be wrapped and 3 times its height.
2. Fold the wrapping paper in 3 widthwise, so that the edges of the paper touch.
3. Put a piece of tape at the bottom, middle and top to hold the two sides together.
4. Fold the bottom of the wrapping paper over to form the bottom of the wrapper.
5. Open the bottom of the wrapping paper to make a diamond.
6. Fold over the top and bottom corner of the diamond to tape them together.
7. Put a piece of tape on each fold of the bottom so that it holds well.
8. Put your gift in the wrapping paper.
9. Then fold the top of the wrapping paper over itself several times.
10. Make two holes in the top of the wrapping paper.
11. Pass the ribbon through the 2 holes.
12. Tie the knot.
