"The most polluting companies are not only failing to meet their already weak commitments.

The 3 companies targeted by the Break Free From Plastic report had nevertheless made commitments to reduce their plastic pollution .
In 2018, they signed an agreement drawn up by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
According to this agreement, they had to reduce the use of plastic in their products.
In fact, the Ellen MacArhur Foundation finds that the reduction in the use of plastic by these 3 companies was only 0.1% between 2018 and 2019.
