SFR follows its competitor FREE and plans to add in the offer of its "Evolution" box free calls to mobile phones.
This new offer should take effect from January 18, 2011. Orange has not yet announced the possibility of making free calls to mobiles with its Internet Box offer, but they will surely follow the trend in the months to come.
If you are already SFR customers, don't forget to ask for the new box to benefit from their really advantageous Evolution offer.
The box was released in November 2010 and we like it. With its 4 gigabit ports and its wifi connection of around 300 MB, your connection will be super fast. The box also has the advantage of being really smaller, around 40% and therefore much less bulky. If your ADSL connection is temporarily interrupted, you finally have the option of plugging in a 3G key to connect to a replacement network.
Being able to call mobiles will allow you to save money whether on Free or on SFR.
On SFR the price of the box evolution package is 34.90 euros. The Freebox subscription is 39 euros.
Without making a comparison between the SFR box and that of FREE, you can anyway save time with a faster connection and above all money by making free calls to mobiles.
If the prices have increased, we find that their new offer remains advantageous and will allow you to reduce your telephone bill significantly.
