The Casino group's S'miles card allows you to accumulate points, redeemable for vouchers. If used well (and this is where you have to be careful!), it can allow you to make real savings!
Like any good self-respecting resident of Saint-Etienne, I grew up in the tradition of Casino races. And ever since the S'miles card first appeared (it was many years ago, remember...), I've been a loyal user.
Imagine:at each checkout, I accumulate one S'miles point for 3 euros of purchase. Then, these S'miles can be exchanged for gifts and vouchers. For example, you need 800 S'miles for a 10 euro voucher, valid in all Géant Casinos. So, if you do the math, you have to spend 2,400 euros to get a reduction of 10 euros... Not very profitable, you might say! And you will be right. Unless you are careful to use my tips.
First, the advantage of this loyalty card is that it allows you to quickly accumulate points, in the various partner brands of the group. You can present it in all Casinos (Petit Casino, Géant, etc.), Cafeterias, Monoprix, or BHV. The scales differ but the S'miles are accumulated on the card. And in the end, I choose what I want as a gift! Until recently, the SNCF and the Caisse d'Epargne were program partners, but these two brands have just ended the partnership. It's a shame but that's how it is!
And then the other advantage is above all that we often receive offers by mail, such as 200 S'miles offered for any purchase over 15 euros. By making small purchases, the kitty increases faster... without spending more!

uPersonally, I did not become a millionaire with this card. But I always keep it with me. It is free and the S'miles remain valid for several years. Three years if I remember correctly. So, by accumulating the offers in various brands, I manage to regularly collect gift vouchers. It's always taken!
The important thing is not to get sucked into offers such as 20 S’miles offered for the purchase of this or that product. These offers are usually offered on major brand items that you would not normally have purchased!
