It's not just scarves and sweaters that the we can knit!
The proof, here is a new fashion that comes straight from California in the United States.
Schuyler Ellers, who runs the "Lord von Schmitt" store on the Etsy site, has created a collection of very colorful and hand-knitted shorts.
Their particularity is that these shorts and pants are made from recycled materials!
What materials? Well, she recycles old Afghan blankets from the 60s.
They turn them into shorts for men (and also for women) using just scissors and a sewing machine.
Now the big question is, would you be brave enough to wear one?
Or maybe it gives you ideas for making recycled clothes? Tell us in the comments.
"Afghan blankets are true folk art, handmade by artisans across America since the 1960s and even before. Using scissors and a sewing machine, I transform these old objects into wearable garments!" says the designer.
