Thomas lives in Copenhagen and spends his days salvaging wood and other materials from the city's landfills.
He then uses them to create dazzling works of art that delight children and adults alike.
We can say that Thomas has a gift for transforming what he finds in the garbage cans into a work of art!
“Every day I collect wood and other materials from my hometown of Copenhagen to create sculptures.
I love working with wood and scrap metal. There's so much to scavenge everywhere, that I can build anything I can think of.
I hope my sculptures will be a source of inspiration and encourage people to recycle,” explains Thomas Dambo.
