This is a new telephone opposition list established by the State.
And it works just as well for a landline or mobile number . In addition, registration is free.

To stop receiving unwanted calls and block them, it's simple, just register on the Bloctel website . Watch:
1. Visit the Bloctel website here.
2. Click on You are a consumer .
3. Then click on the Registration tab .
4. At the bottom of the page, click on Start your registration.
5. Complete the registration form indicating your email, a password, your first and last name, your address and the numbers to register (landline and/or mobile).
6. Click on the button Validate the form.
7. Within 48 hours, you will receive an email to confirm your registration. Remember to check your spam if no mail reaches you.
8. Open this email and click on the hyperlink to confirm your registration.
9. Within 30 days maximum, your phone number will be protected .
There you go, you are now protected against unwanted commercial calls :-)
Now you know how to stop advertising phone calls.

Please note that your subscription to this service is valid for 3 years .
Three months before the expiry of the 3-year period, you will receive an email to find out if you wish to renew your opposition.
Some calls are not blocked.
All telephone prospecting calls are blocked, EXCEPT those from the following professionals:
- those with whom you already have a current contract. For example, your bank, your telephone company...
- those to whom you have unequivocally communicated your number in order to be called back.
- newspapers, periodicals or magazines can always contact you.
- polling institutes or non-profit associations when the call does not have a commercial prospecting purpose.
Did you know that all operators telephone companies must offer their customers the possibility of registering on an opposition list and this, free of charge ?
There are 2 types of lists:
- the red list :your telephone details will not appear on any directory, list of users or subscribers.
- the orange list :your phone details will continue to appear in the phone book. On the other hand, your number cannot be transmitted to commercial companies so that they approach you.

Despite your registration on the list of opposition to canvassing, you still receive advertising calls?
Go to the Bloctel.gouv.fr website. Identify yourself with your personal number to make a complaint to the services of the Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Prevention (DGCCRF). An investigation will be conducted on the number in question.
