It's a simple trick thing. Instead of bothering to buy illustrated notepad notebooks, send a postcard instead . That's one envelope less used and one stamp much less expensive, since the card is so light.
I'm sure most of the mail you send is small messages to family or friends who are far away. So believe me, a nice landscape, a funny illustration or even a homemade drawing, it will make them much more happy than an ordinary letter sheet.
Mail costs more and more, so it is better to save your envelopes using it only for important mail.

You must hear about it often, the price of mail is constantly increasing. The envelopes are more expensive and we don't forget the postage stamps either, which will drop to €0.60 on July 1st , while their price had already been increased last year...
